Because I haven't done one of these in a while, either.
I couldn't choose just one:
I've been having way too much fun with image editing lately. It's good to know that I can get shots that are technically perfect and make them look different and change their entire mood by just moving a few sliders around.
We've made it to Tucson. I realize I've been silent about many of the places I've seen so far on this trip but for whatever reason the words won't come. Even photography has been hit or miss the last few days.
I'm in a discontented space and I'm facing many decisions and challenges in the next few months, and I'd be lying if I said this wasn't revealing itself in my creative pastimes.
If you're out shooting in high-contrast lighting situations (like mid-morning, as in this photo), try shooting in black and white instead. Let the contrasts work for you rather than against you.
