We've made it to Tucson. I realize I've been silent about many of the places I've seen so far on this trip but for whatever reason the words won't come. Even photography has been hit or miss the last few days.

After years of telling him "You really should be blogging. No, really. Really. Here, let me set up a blog for you. And another. And another. Oh heck, are you ever going to use this thing?", R. finally bit the bullet and made his first blog post today.
I feel like a proud parent, without the whole "Oh my word, how am I going to afford to send him to university" panic.
* I had my first 'home page' in 1993, my first online collection of essays in '95, my first journal in '97, and my first blog in '99. I'm so old school that if I were a desk, I'd have an inkwell.
